Mode of Delivery:
Blended learning: Face-to-face in classroom environment and pre-learning.
1/2 day face-to-face (approximately 3 to 4 hours), including meal break).

Workbook exercises and theory component of the assessment makes up the precourse homework that is required to be completed prior to attending.
Written, practical and scenario-based assessments.
Who should attend:
This course is designed for registered electricians and other who work on or around live or potentially live low voltage systems. ESI employees are required to maintain currency in this unit for authorisation / approval to work on ESI Networks.
This Competency Standard Unit covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the work place. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.

- Carry out rescue from live LV panel in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Complete the LV panel rescue procedure.
